Getting ready to head out this weekend to chase some snows.  Saw a small flock in eastern IA this afternoon.  Haven't heard of many light geese in Iowa yet.  They are starting to see some juvies moving in to northern MO.

Hunted SW Iowa the past two weekends.  We saw a lot of birds coming north in the morning to feed and heading back south to roost during the day.  They came back north in teh evening and then headed back south at dark.  With the warm temps and south winds, we were expecting to see more of a migration.  The birds seemed pretty content hanging around.  A lot more Rossies and Juvies this past weekend.  We did manage to get 6 geese over the two weekends.  Hunting was tough though with several big feeds within a mile of our spread.  Couldn't get very many looks as the birds were all locked in on the big feeds.
